*FAHAD:

As i slowly opened my eyes, the first sound i heard was my heart pounding..
It made me freak.
I've never heard it this clearly.
I tried to move.
I tried to lift my hands to shade my eyes from the light, but i couln't.
I tried to move my feet, but i couldn't.
A million thoughts were running through my head, what could possibly be wrong?
I don't even remember what happened.
I knew i was in the hospital, i mean, where else could i be?
An undescribable amount of pain shot through me instantly!
I started looking around for a nurse or maybe a doctor.
My eyes lay on Lulu..

No words can describe how happy i was to see her.
I tried to call out for her..
I opened my mouth, but no words came out.

She slowly turned around, as if to leave.
What?

I moaned, i desperatley wanted her to know I'm here, watching, awake.

She turned around, and within second she broke down, on the floor, and started crying.

I felt so helpless.
I hate seeing her like this.
I hate seeing her crying, because of me.

You'll never just how much I wanted to get up and hold her.

A few seconds later, she whiped her tears, took a deep breath, and started making her way towards me.
She pulled the chair closer to me and sat there.
She started crying again.
I desperatley wanted to hold her hand.
I tried to move, again, but failed.
I failed at moving any part of my body.

Could i possibly be.. paralized?
No, please no!
The thought of it made me cry.
Without realizing, a tear crept down my face.

*LULU:

I decided to be strong.
I whipped my tears of my face, took a deep breath and made my towards him.

I pulled the chair closer and sat down.
Just staring at him, i couldn't fight the tears anymore.

I drowned in my thoughts.

I heard a knock on the dor, i turned around to see the doctor followed y two nurses.

Doctor: Are you Lulu?
Lulu: Yes, Why?

He stared at the ground.

Lulu: 3sa ma shar? shfeeh Fahad?

I started crying.
The two nurses came closer to me.

Doctor: I don't know how to tell you this..
Lulu: Jus tell me!!!

I almost screamed.

Doctor: I'll just be straight forward with you..

He was silent for a couple of seconds which felt like hours to me.

Doctor: We are afraid Fahad might e paralyzed..

What? PARALYZED?!!!!

I was really hoping this was a dream.
A nightmare.
I was waiting for myself to wake up.

I took a look at Fahad.
I couldn't believe my eyes..

*LULU:

I don't feel like picking up the phone.
I actually don't feel like talking to anyone.
Before i realised it, they hung up.
And then called again.
Aahh let's get this over with!

Lulu:Aloo?
...: Are you lulu?
Lulu: Yes, who's asking?
...: Are you related to Fahad?

What?..

Lulu: Yes, Im his wife! Is everything Oki?
...: Ohh Oki. Can you please come to the hospital?
Lulu: Hospital? Whyyy?

I started crying.. Yaa rab mo ely b'baley..

...: I'm sorry to inform you that Fahad had had a car accident and its important for you to come please.

I was shoked. Numb.

Lulu: ...
...:  Fahad really needs you. Hurry please.

And they hung up.

Without hesitation, i called Shahad.

First ring.
Second ring.

Wayyy shahad yallaah!!!

Third ring.
Shahad: aloo?

Lulu: *sniff* Shahad Please ta3aley mreeney wadeeney el'hosp!
Shahad: shno? Laish? shfeech? 3sa ma shar?
Lulu:...
Shahad: Oki kaney yaya!

And she hung up.
I sat there, on the ground, crying my eyes out.
I hope he's fine.

In no time, Shahad called and told me she was waiting for me outside.
I, literally, ran out of the house and into Shahad's car.

She stared at me as if i was an alien.

Lulu: YALLAAH DRIVE!!!!
Shahad: Ambeh shfeech? tra khara3teeney..
Lulu: Fahad msawey 7adeth..

I couldn't help but cry..

Shahad was awkwardly silent while driving.

Lulu: Shahad 7adey khayfa 3laih! ballah feh shay? wayy yallaahh asraa3!!!!

Shahad: Enshallah ma feh ela el3afia..

That didn't make things better, I'm still worried.

When i got to the hospital, i bolted towards the emergency entrance.

Women: Can i help you?

Lulu: Yes, ive recieved a phone call telling me to come down here because my husband had had an accident.
Women: What's his name?
Lulu: Fahad, Fahad Al*****

Two nurses behin the desk looked at each other.
Lulu: What's wrong? Is he Oki?

Tears went streaming down my face.

Nurse: Follow me please.

Shahad: Lulu tabeeney aye m3ach?
Lulu: Laa 3adey im fine..

She walked and i walked behind her, as if asking her to hurry.

She suddenly turned to face and let out a sigh

Nurse: This is his room..
I wanted to go in but she stood in my way.

Nurse: First, you need to know that he's not in the bet condition.. Would you like to see him?
Lulu: YEAAHH OF COURSEE!
Nurse: I'll call the doctor, he needs to speak with you.

I ignored that last sentence and went inside to see him.
He looked so helpless.
I was standing in the corner with tears streaming down my cheeks.
I cannot take this anymore.

Just when i considered leaving the room, i heard a moan..

Without thinking, i broke down on the floor..

I dropped my phone.

The road is pretty much empty so i reached out to get it.
I was reaching out to get it but i couln't find it.
I bent down and didn't realize i was speeding..

*LULU:

I guess Fahad doesn't care about me anymore!
I have a feeling that Fahad is cheating, but a voice in my head keeps yelling "STOP JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS!"
Am i really jumping to conclusions?
Yes, Lulu you are.
I mean, it will show with time, won't it?

My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call from an uknown number...

The apartment is a mess. I need Groceries

Khalid: Hey, Rosy I just came from Kuwait, can you please clean my apartment now?
Rosy: Hi, Mr. Khalid. Sure I'll be at your place at about 10 minutes
Khalid: thank you
Rosy: How's Mrs Anny
Khalid: we got divorced..
Rosy: sorry to hear that
Khalid: no problem, I'll leave my keys in the usual place

I took my car and went to grocery shopping. While I was walking a lady bumped into me, she was talking on her mobile, while i was bbming Abdullah

...: ahh, i'll call you back and she ended her call!
I looked up
...: umm, asfa ukhooy ma shiftik..

She was clearly embaressed.

I said that with i smile.

She laughed. Her smile is breathtaking.

She smiled, and walked away.

Fahad: Its..it was a cousin of mine..
Lulu: Which one? Im your cousin Fahad, dont lie to me..
Fahad: IM NOT LYING.
Lulu: Yes you are.

Lulu: FAHAD! I KNOW YOUR CHEATING ON ME! 5ALA9 SAY IT, SAY IT!

Fahad came close to Lulu, he was gonna slap her bas he backed away. Lulu's eyes got wide and tears started rolling from her eyes, she never expected this from Fahad. He's her cousin after all.

Fahad: Lulu, im so sorry..
Lulu: FAHAD! HOW DARE YOU? IM NOT ONLY YOUR WIFE, IM YOUR COUSIN TOO!
Fahad :Lulu, im sorry. 5ala9 lets not make a big deal about it.
Lulu: Lets not make a big deal out of it? Ist already big-.-

He turned his back and walked away
I kept crying.
I slowly retrieved back to the bedroom while he left to i don't know where
I lay there, thinking, suspecting who he could have been talking to.
Am i not enough? did i do something wrong?
The feeling of never satisfying his wants and needs is killing me slowly..
Why does it feel like guilt?
Though i didn't do anything wrong

I decided to call him and tell him im going to my parents.

Lulu texted me what happened between her and Fahad. Wtf? I wanted to tell 3bdallah, bas i couldn't. I promised not to tell. Im not the kind of person who breaks promises. Ugh.

I drifted away, slowly sinking in my thoughts, until Abdullah interrupted.

Abdullah: Shahoud fech 6al3a? khane6l3:D

He was hyper and full of energy

Shahad: Laa 7abeebey wallah maley khelg
Abdullah: Laish? shfeech? yallah please 3ashaney la trdeeney

Ahh that puppy face of his, i just couldn't say no.

He motiened toward and kissed my forehead
I love it when he does that.

I showered, got dressed, applied my makeup and i was ready to go.

**KHALED:
I finally arrived.
The hours i spent on the plane seemed like forever.
But the girl sitting next to me helped time pass.
She was.. interesting.
No wrong thoughts, i only thought of her as a friend

I got myself a taxi and directed him to my appartment
It feels good to be back here.


**FAHAD:

I really hope lulu didn't hear anything.
I'm pretty sure she's suspecting something, and that's good.
Everything is going just as planned.
I have a feeling that this is gonna be perfect.

I checked my bbm to see if Lulu got to her parents home.
I got nothing from her.

While i was typing, my phone slipped out of my hands

My face was, literally, as if i've just seen a ghost
That was Khaled's number
Why would he call ME?
The last time his number appeared on my screen was three years ago, when we were still together.
Shahad: Haw.. hatha raqam khaled? shaybey?
i had a concerned look on my  face
Abdullah: 3adey ard?
Shahad; sure
Abdullah: aloo?
khaled: Uhh.. hala abdullah .. 3sa bs ma g3dtkum?
abdullah: khaled shfeek allah yhadak? fe a7ad ydeg hal7aza? *and he laughed out loud*

they hung up and shahad asleep as soon as he hung up.

LULU:

I woke up and didnt find fahad next to me, i wonder where he is. i checked my phone and found nothing from Fahad.
Weird.
I got up, took a shower, and on my way to the kitchen i found fahad asleep on the couch.
He looks very tired, but it couldn't be possible that he was too tired to walk himself to the bedroom.
I walked over to him and started waking him up gently
The second he openned his eyes, the first ting he did was check his phone and clic the "end call" button
which made me wonder for a second  if he was talking to someone, some girl.
I quickly brushed that thought out of my mind and kissed his forehead .
"9a7  el'noum" i whispered
Fahad: 9a7 bdnech.. cham el'sa3a?
lulu: its 11:30
fahad: Eeeh Oki saweeeley reyoug
Lulu: enshallah
What is wrong with him? why was acting like that?
Could he be cheating on me? Nooo fahad wouldn't do that.
and slowly i started doubting him..

KHALED:

The next morning, On my way to the airport i bbm-ed Lulu

Lulu: Hlaaaa?
Khaled: im omw to the airport, headed back to London:p just thought id let you know.. salmay 3la fahad
Lulu: Laaish:o? So soon? without saying goodbye:(?
Khaled: LOL im saying goodbye right now im gonna miss you guys
Lulu: goodbye.. We'll miss you too.. ill try and talk them into returning to london asap:D

what the hell is wrong with lulu? where's my breakfast? doesnt she know that im already late?

"LULUUUUU!" i shouted
"Hala?" i heard her reply from the kitchen with a pitch in her voice, as if she was upset

Why is he shouting from the top of his lungs? its not like he's in a hurry is he?
i quickly carried the tray and placed it in front of him

He didn't reply.

His eyes are glued to his phone.
Its like he almost forgot about his breakfast.

I stared down on my breakfast, and then realised Lulu was standing there in front f me, like shes waititng for something.
"Shfeech?" i said sarcastically.
Lulu: Ha.. la wla shay
And she walked away with a frown on her face.
What's wrong with her?
she can't be suspecting something, can she?
as soon as i finished my breakfast, i quickly went inside the bedroom, took a shower and got dressed to go out.
Lulu: Fahad? wain btrou7?
Fahad: barou7 ayeeb shaghla mn el'dawam
Lulu:Ee..

LULU:

he can't be going to work.. he was dressed to casually.
Something is wrong
All of a sudden his phone began to ring.
He stared at the phone, smiled a goofy smile, grabbed his keys and quickly made his way out.
I slowly followed him just to listen to the conversation..
Fahad:aloo?
*****:....
Fahad: Tmam el7emdillah, enay shlounech?

Whatttt? "shlounech"???!!
Who could he be talking to..
"Fahadd?" i stuttered..
He looked at me with a look of shock.
Fahad *whispered*: Dgega ou akalmich..
Fahad: Halaa Lulu? ma tshoufeeney g3d atkalam b'telephone?
Lulu: Embala.. bs mno g3d tkalem?
a group of tears started forming in my eyes as is struggled to hold them back

Wadania Lulu bayt'hom. Now im in the car alone with Shahad. We haven't talk since the Anny incident, I sense that she's mad. Ugh. Its clearly not my fault! She came to me and hugged me!

I don't think I can stay with Anny anymore. I can't forget the fact that she cheated on me, hugged and kissed 3bdallah in front of everyone.

the car ride was quiet

at the house

Khalid: Anny we need to talk
Anny: about...?
Khalid: us
Anny: what about us? We're fine
Khalid: that's for me to decide
Anny:okay...
Khalid: I want to divorce you, I can't live this way anymore. I'm tired! you still didn't change your the same.
Anny started to cry: you're leaving me!!!:0
Khalid: yes
Anny: no! but i love you
Khalid: no you don't, you love the way your living with me but you don't love me.

Khalid: if you really did love me, you wouldn't of cheated on me several times..
Anny: but
Khalid: no buts, i'll book you a ticket to london and i'll send you the paper

Khaled couldn't imagine going back to his bachelor life again..it would just be..Lonely.
All of a sudden, a thought of his good times with shahad popped up in his mind, and that one thought led to mamy others.


Khaled's thoughts:

God, i miss her.. no, i dont miss her.. i miss how used to be.. i miss those days when we would do nothing but talk.. Eww what am i thinking.. SHE'S MARRIED NOW,  KHALED GET A GRIP OF YOURSELF!


SHAHAD:
I think its sweet what 3bdullah did.. i mean after all, we have anny to blame.. i guess this is what happens when jealousy takes over.

when abdullah and shahad arrived, shahad was so tired she couldnt even take her clothes off so she threw herself on the bed and started bbm-ing lulu

3bdullah: shahd babe ana bakheth shower Oki?
Shahad *while bbm-ing lulu*: Oki 7ayati

After 3bdullah got out of the shower he notice that shahad fell asleep with her phone by her side, so he tucked her under the sheets and cuddled next to her.

3BDULLAH:

Looking at her makes me proud, i can't believe im finally with the girl ive always waited for.

just when abdullah closed his eyes to sleep, Shahad's phone began to ring.
He didnt want to wake her up s he helped himself to the phone to switch it to silent mode.
He noticed that an unknown number was calling, a number that wasn't saved to Shahd's contact list.

3bdullah *whispering to himself*: Wait! A3aref halraqam ana! mar 3lay mn gbl!

Shahad woke up and noticed that he was hoolding her phone

Shahad: Shfeeek? hatha mobiley?

3bdullah*while flipping the screen to her view*: Shoufay! mno halraqam?
